Meet Weasel! Weasel came to HOHR after his mother had to be moved to a nursing home. He attaches deeply to ‘his person’ and would do best in a one person home. He is cautious and will bark at new people but once he realizes they are safe he calms down. He is fine with other dogs(big and small) and cats but will require a home without young children or children that visit frequently. Weasel is a 7-year-old long haired Chihuahua mix that weights about 17lbs. Weasel is leash trained and potty trained, and will require a fenced in yard. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives.
